This week, Danville Mass Transit Operations Superintendent Lisa Beith recognized employees for service and safety performance.
- Roberto "Bobby" Santiago, III, Mechanics Helper was awarded the Employee of the Quarter Award for outstanding service to DMT.
- Michael Knight, Full Time Driver, was awarded Employee of the Quarter for outstanding service as a bus operator.
Annual Safety Awards for years of safe driving were awarded to the following bus drivers:
- Jean Ann Bates, 1 year
- Lateesha "Tee" Davis, 4 years
- Laura Decker, 1 year
- Pete Estrada, 5 years
- Brenda Finley, 6 years
- Robert McNeil, 2 years
- Joe Leonard, 8 years
- Ricky Taylor, 2 years
